The archaeological site of Torreparedones is an Andalusian archaeological site located between the towns of Baena and Castro del Río, in the province of Córdoba. It has important remains of the culture of Tartessians, Iberians and Romans, highlighting a monumental gate. Torreparedones is also known as the Tower of the Virgins, being in the Cordovan countryside. It is located at an elevation of 579.60 m.s. and it was inhabited for at least 3500 years, from the Copper Age to the Late Middle Ages. Currently, it is open for visits.
